Our Charentaises are entirely made in La Rochefoucauld-En-Angoumois, in Charente, the historic birthplace of our famous slipper.

The Charentaise is worn tightly during the first fitting then after a few hours, the interior wool will settle and the upper material will relax slightly (the foot will have made its place and you will benefit from the incomparable comfort of the Charentaise).< /p>

If you take a size larger, you will be more comfortable when trying on then after a few hours, the interior wool will settle and the Charentaise may be too big for you and you risk losing it.

If, however, after this test, it is still not suitable, you can return the pair to us (please consult the terms and conditions in the ‘Product returns’ section)

Our felt soles are made in the South-West of France, at the last wool manufacturer.

They are mainly composed of wool, cotton and recycled fibers, and a plasticized layer in an anti-slip version.

There are 2 qualities of felt sole for our charentaises:

• The genuine and authentic 5-chain felt sole. This is par excellence the authentic and ancestral felt sole of our legendary slipper made in sewn-turned. It once allowed valets to move from room to room in castles, without making noise while polishing the parquet floors.

It is thanks to this sole, which allows you to move around discreetly, that the charentaise has earned its name of ‘Silent’.

This entirely felt sole is pleasant for moving around in an apartment.

Be careful, however, it is only intended for indoor use and can also be slippery but remains the “favorite” of purists.

• The non-slip felt soleor also called "crepe comfort". It is simply the same felt sole on which a thin non-slip layer is molded. Today, this quality is all the more appreciated by our customers, which is why you will find more items designed on this sole on our site.

This coating gives it a reassuring side due to its better grip on the ground and a more material visual.

In addition, this light skate will allow you to go out on your terrace.

In both cases, you will benefit from the same comfort thanks to the sewn-returned assembly.

Little tip: the charentaises whose reference contains the letter F (e.g.: CAHORS F Beige) are made with felt sole, while the letter P (e.g. CALMONT P Marine) indicates the non-slip felt sole.

You can place an order on our website and pay by credit card and Paypal. The products available for sale are in stock (except for exceptional reasons) and are shipped 2 (to be defined exactly) working days (processing time for your order – excluding media events).

If you do not wish to order online, you can select a model on our website. Please contact us to reserve your order and explain the ordering terms.

Currently, our contract with our transport provider only allows us to ship to France and Belgium. We are studying the possibility of extending our delivery area in Europe.

The maximum delivery time is 30 days.

In practice, you should allow a processing time of 2 working days, upon receipt of your order, to which is added the transport time (for information purposes, provided by Colissimo):

• 24 to 48 hours for France

• 72 hours for Belgium

You have 14 days from receipt of your order to return your product to us. It must not have any signs of wear or tear.

Please contact us if you need additional time (exceptional case: gift for a special occasion).

You can return your order to us in its original packaging to SAS Rondinaud – Chemin de la Zone Industrielle – 16110 La Rochefoucauld-En -Angoumois.

Please include a short note specifying your order reference (made up of 9 letters), your name, the reason for return, and your wish for exchange or refund.

In the event of an exchange for a different product, we will refund the difference, if the chosen product is more expensive, please send us the amount of the difference with the return.

Returned products must be returned in their original condition and must not show any signs of wear or wear.

The return costs are your responsibility and we will ship the exchange to our fresh.
